My approach to this standard heavily focuses on planning. I believe coming prepared for the class you have leads to an environment of respect and inclusion as the teacher can set the tone for the students. I have included notes from my 490 (50%) practicum coaching teacher on how I demonstrated this standard while teaching Kindergarten. I was surprised just how many actions can fall under standard 5 and believe this list is a great start for me to continue growing off of and expanding on.
